Weird-i-Tees bulk band t-shirts follows the philosophy of high quality products with low cost. Our vision is to be a major player in the success of many local Indie bands. By having low cost solutions to merchandising bands can raise more capital to fund their dreams of getting signed to a record label and expanding there fan base. With low minimum purchases and a variety of merchandising options bands can custom design there own clothing lines and create substantial profits.
Through our research we discovered that apparel customization is a growing industry in North America and Europe. Our primary target market is small bands, and local bands in the area looking to make a name for themselves. The secondary market that we plan to target is larger bands that have had more exposure, are better known and have more money to throw around. The third market we would like to get into is the restaurant and bar industry.
The competition in our industry provide almost the same service to their clients that we are offering but we plan on targeting smaller bands that are looking to make a name for themselves.
To market our products we will contact bands directly via telephone and email. Weird-i-Tees company website will include the businesses description, product descriptions, pricing guidelines, printing policies, samples of artwork, and a link to the businesses Myspace.com site. We will use websites such as myspace.com, ottawametal.com, punkottawa.com, and ontariopunk.com to advertise and gain some customer base, and also post a link to our website on these sites through a strategic alliance. Online flyers and banners can be placed on the above sites as well as reciprocal links for local bands, their fans, Indie record labels and other non-competing companies in the same field. We also plan on sponsoring bands and events.
Weird-i-Tees will be a Sole proprietorship, owned and operated by Joseph Prodonick. It will be run with that structure until the managers and production dictate that it should be turned into a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC). Our management team was selected by the owner, and they are eager to begin work.
